This website for legendary guitar player James Burton was born in 2001, and ignited my interest in webdesign. Back then, there was hardly any information available on the internet about James, so I decided to gather whatever I could find and put it together. Yahoo! Geocities was my first host.

Now in it's 8th or 9th incarnation, the website is running on Wordpress and has many features, like a list of upcoming gigs, with venue information, ticket information and much more, James' Twitter account is featured on the homepage and the discography is kept in a database, which is easy to maintain. All news articles can be shared on social networks, to increase the reach of the news and there is a promotional spot for advertisements/promotions.

Wordpress allows for visitors to sign up in order for them to be able to comment on articles. This also means a growing database of fans, which can then be used for promotional means.

For this website, I use a separate Photo Gallery, powered by Coppermine.

I began working on Paul Leim's website in the summer of 2012. Paul's focus was on displaying media along side his massive body of work. So, I incorporated some random videos on the homepage and two audio files, as per Mr. Leim's request.

In order to display his enormous discography, I use a database and retrieve the information using SQL. Other functions of the site include a Spotify playlist, which Mr. Leim can easily maintain by himself.

Through my work with James Burton, I came into contact with this incredibly talented band from The Netherlands. I have been working with this band since 2010, when I was Tour Manager for Mufkin Tass' European tour with James Burton.

This website, like many other artist websites, contains music in a custom music player, giving you control over the entire look and feel of the player. A video plugin allows for their latest YouTube video to be displayed on the page. I also setup most of their Social Networks, which in time they were able to manage themselves.

Mufkin Tass' website also contains a Guestbook, which is easy to maintain and moderate and fully customizable in terms of look and feel.

When Ted Harris of the Express Band approached me in 2010 to do a website for his band, it didn't just mean building a website, it meant a lot of graphic work as well.

Their logo was outdated and needed sprucing up and they wanted a retro design for their Rock 'n' Roll band. Since information on the band was limited, I decided to make it a one-page website, with all information displayed in a vertical design.

The music player was a feature request. The stage with the biographies popping up when you hover your mouse over an instrument, was my own idea. Instead of a static page with a picture and some text, I felt this website needed something more interactive.
